The Council of the City of Gold Coast has recently implemented a Risksmart application process to deal with developments that would ordinarily be self-assessable but are non-compliant with specific criteria.  This application process typically allows for a 5 day turn-around on a decision and importantly Council only assess the areas of non-compliances.
